| Porky's thought was the funniest movie: Porky's I've ever seen. I liked all the friends because they are playing tricks on each other. I mean, it does not. I've always played tricks on my friends. Made me laugh. So I have enjoyed so much. Laughter is my most favorite thing to do. I'm 28 and still playing tricks. I love to laugh. All characters made me laugh. I like comedy. And this Porky's film made me laugh more. This is more fun than American Pie. That's just my opinion. I laughed throughout the movie. I still see it. It is fun to joke around with your friends. I loved this movie. Still makes me laugh and have a good time. My dad loves this movie. It's just a bunch of teenagers playing tricks on each other. It is the greatest! |
| From R-first DivX Movie Porky's I've seen, I still remember the night at my grandparents, with their free weekend of HBO, I sat in the dark with the volume so low I am not sure if I could even hear it. I was 12 at the time and I still remember the change in channel 1 in the morning thinking that we have heard my grandfather lifted. A really funny movie. |
| We all have certain movies, not much appreciated by the critics, either public or, indeed, however, to find a chord within us. They are our guilty pleasures, films that never get tired of, but not to brag about. "Porky's" is one of the mines. It is tasteless, inane, and fans. The plot does not make much sense, and the characters do not behave rationally. But I do not care. "Porky's" is fun, I carry a mythical time in the United States when it was great to be a teenager. Life was a lark, issues in black and white, and all are happy endings. In this sense "Porky's" is like many of the Disney films such as "Pollyanna," a haunt of the other guilty pleasures. Pure fantasy, pure entertainment. I like this film, but that's just my opinion. |
| A lot of people compare this film: Porky's to American Pie, which would have to disagree with many of them. On one side was not Porky's gross, it was great fun and is a nostalgia for the era of the 1950s, not the 1990s that are not as simple or innocent as those days were back then. Porky's Plus would have made more money than American Pie if they meet their Großes through inflation, these figures would any studio exec. almost mourn! |
| I looked at the first two pages (here on the website IMDB), other reviews and I am not at all surprised to find reviews ranging from very good to very bad, is that this type of movie. If you have not seen it, here's my take on the matter. People who are stuffy, proper, sophisticated and politically correct in a social sense they will not care for this movie. On the other hand, if they are again, easy, do not have to have a moral and uplifting story, and appreciate the comedy (often sexy and a bit raw), you'll love this movie. The producer and director, obviously, made this Porky's film very simply to provide the audience with a lot of very funny comedy. And they succeeded to a large extent (if they are again, easy, etc.) The scenes range from hilarious funny. Buy or rent the video. I saw this on the television network and is very healthy. " |
